Occasionally I will use agency time to conduct personal business.
Yeah. This is one of my favorite shows. Well-done remake. Although, they changed the opening score from season one to season two. Not a big fan of that move. Minor nit though.
One more day...one more day...one more day...Did the tooth fairy leave you any percoset?
Yeah, I'm pretty psyched about tonight. VCRs all programmed and e'rything. BTW, I forgot to thank you for the heads-up on the Webisodes. I'd try to redeem myself by mentioning that there's a first-act preview you can watch on the BSG site (basically the first 10 minutes of episode 301), but I'm sure you already know that. Anyway, great blog. So say we all.
No percoset, only generic Vicodin. (It's the drug of choice for NFL players!) I am suspending my 8:00 dose just so I can stay awake and alert for tonight's show. Dedication, gentlemen.
After watching last night, I thought for a sec maybe Sci-Fi had sold the show to FX. They really amped-up the violence and sex.Not sure if they needed to really reference the Iraq-insurgency thing as heavy as they did. Still, good to start the season off.
It was a grim 2 hours. To me, the violence and sex seemed on the same level as the original mini-series, when -- within, like, the first 20 minutes of the show -- we saw Six kill a baby then have hot red-spine sex. It was, on the whole, a welcome relief from all the "character development" of last season. But it was hard to watch. And what the hell was going on with Helo's hair?
And Edward James Olmos is looking more and more like a shrunken head. Can we get a wide shot instead next time?
