I'd try to redeem myself by mentioning that there's a first-act preview you can watch on the BSG site (basically the first 10 minutes of episode 301), but I'm sure you already know that.
No percoset, only generic Vicodin. (It's the drug of choice for NFL players!) I am suspending my 8:00 dose just so I can stay awake and alert for tonight's show. Dedication, gentlemen.
It was a grim 2 hours. To me, the violence and sex seemed on the same level as the original mini-series, when -- within, like, the first 20 minutes of the show -- we saw Six kill a baby then have hot red-spine sex. It was, on the whole, a welcome relief from all the "character development" of last season. But it was hard to watch.
