MdM: In any other case, I agree: a man who can cook is, well, there's simply no word that describes such perfection. But Ramsay -- who I actually thought was kinda hot when I first saw him on BBC America -- is a complete asshat. It's not that he's a bully. It's that he realized early in his career that being a bully would guarantee him more camera time and eventually worldwide fame so he grew into an even more loathsome bully. All in all, I prefer my TV chef boyfriends to be a little nicer.
Irene, I defer to your judgment. Yes, I like my TV Chef boyfriends to be a lot nicer - but I LOVE it when he kicks drunken ass on "Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" on BBC America. He is kind of a poop - but did you see him with Joan Collins on the "F Word" - OMG, he made the woman who IS the definition of bitch cry. Joan. Fucking. Collins. Cry.
Oh yeah, the queen of mean shed a tear from her perfect little eyeholes. She forgave him after he taught her how to actually cook something. He took her to task (thus the tears) for playing at cooking, not taking his tuteladge seriously enough. BTW - she was totally dressed as Alexis Carrington on holiday!
