You felt insulted? By an ad? Tell me more.

Will pet charms save Zales? Hope so. Because it seems their holiday ad campaign might not be all that popular.

Every time I see a "journey diamond" commercial I want to scream at the TV. I've had beloved husband for 12+ years now - through thick and thin, sickness and health and annoying choices of music and the wrong appetizers at the Chinese place, but I gotta say I DO NOT want a diamond journey anything. That does not symbolize the journey. It's the photos we take on trips, the artwork we bought on holiday, the antique chair that I loved and he hated (and sits in the den!) This is not a rant about the commercialization of Christmas it's a reality check. Are you so insecure that you need a shiny thing to believe that "he cares"? Really? Think about it.

I'm just irritated that they stole the opening 8 bars to my favorite Vanessa Carlton song for a crappy commercial where two guys (douchebags, I think is the term we're bandying about) high-five in the mall????

Hello? Man Law, anyone?

That high-five commercial is the absolute worst (well, except for the "He got it at Jared" commercials). The people responsible should be outed and pummelled.

Pummelling -- an excellent suggestion.

Imagine how many campaigns would instantly improve if everyone involved -- agency and client alike -- was threatened with a vigorous public pummelling.
