Social shopping doesn't always lead to social buying

First there was the Gap Lounge. Now: Forth & Towne social-shopping fitting rooms. Anything, it seems, to keep women from noticing that the clothes might just suck.

Ernie Schenck’s advertising blog stumbled into an unexpected discussion on race after Schenck posed questions surrounding the Hispanic Creativity Awards.

The discussion showed that most adfolks continue to be unfamiliar with — and even clueless about — cultures besides their own. Overall, it provided a snapshot of the issues of diversity facing the industry for those capable of reading between the online lines.
