I don't get all the implications of
news like this but doesn't it seem like Sirius has racked up some mind-bendingly huge operating costs? Doesn't it seem like they sink a lot of money into attracting subscribers? Is George Steinbrenner running this thing?

Sirius is a troubled company that may yet be saved by what may turn out to be a good bet on cultural change. I've visited their amazing Midtown Manhattan headquarters at the apex of the McGraw Hill building on several occasions. Looks like the International Space Station, but with lots of closet space. Maybe the bankruptcy people can auction it off as the next James Bond supervillain set if Sirius goes under.
Maybe Stern needs all that space for his porn star guests and their...accessories.
