I think Roethlisberger already did his public service. If he convinces one kid to do something fun for once in his life and suffer the consequences of the action but not be particularly sorry about doing it, and that kid decides not to go on a killing spree in the Frisco mall as a result, it will all have been worth it. IMPO, he's already saved hundreds of lives.
