Do you really want Penney's to rock your prom?

They're based in Plano so they may have a skewed estimate of how much schoolkids can spend, but Penney's is going all-out for the teen dollar.

Oh, that is just sad and pathetic. The loser older guy trying to fit in with the younger crowd by buying beer and saying things like, "It's so rad!"

You know, JCP is trying a lot of new things -- like their Nicole Miller line and like that interior designer woman who looks eerily like Martha but isn't. I'd love to know if anything's working. Seems like we need some department store to bridge the gap between Target and Neiman-Marcus. Although, now that I say that, I can't think of why.
